the day i FIRST STEPPED FOOT INTO A YOGA CLASS, tHE ROOM WAS HOT, THE BODIES WERE PACKED AND MY BODY AND MIND COULDN’T COMPREHEND THE IDEA OF BEARING MY OWN weight on my hands. I gave it a go, but it didnt immediately stick. flash forward a few years: i discovered vinyasa flow. It stuck. i was drawn to the creativity in sequencing in each class, the moderate temperature that worked better for my body, and the strength i learned i was able to build.

YOGA IS MANY THINGS TO ME. IT IS A CREATIVE OUTLET, A WAY TO EXPRESS MY EMOTIONS, AND A WAY TO CALM THEM. TEACHING HAS TAUGHT ME TO LOOK AT THE WORLD WITH SOFTER EYES, AND PRACTICING HAS TAUGHT ME TO LOOK AT MYSELF THE SAME WAY.

YOU REALLY CAN TRANSFORM IN BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT THROUGH THE PRACTICE OF YOGA.

tRAININGS: I COmpleted my 200 hour training through claire este-macdonald and gregor singleton in 2012. i did a lot of self study and observed the teachers i loved closely. I started looking at the softer sides of yoga, and eventually travelled to nyc to study with renowned teacher jillian pransky in restorative yoga. i completed her restorative courses and a few continuing educational workshops. One of the biggest gems i’ve discovered was yin yoga, and the practice came to me almost at the same time that i took interest in energy work (reiki). I studied the foundations of yin through josh summers, and i became so interested in the subject that i am currently enrolled in the summer’s school of yin yoga’s 300 hour training.
